The ribs are outstanding. It would be nice if they offered a corn muffin without sugar, maybe with jalapeño. Also, their loaded potato salad would be nice if it was served hot, or given the option of hot or cold. The restaurant is very clean and they provide great customer service.. The free ice cream cone at the end of the meal is a nice bonus. Will definitely be our go to barbecue place.
I have never received any bad food from this establishment. Service is great. They're always smiling and the food is never cold. I recommend that people should try BBQ PETE'S
From the salads, to the ribs and brisket. So good. BUT, the fries with the smokie fry sauce is just about perfection. The corn bread and whipped honey butter gets an honorable mention!
I love this BBQ spot!! The ambiance is amazing and truly fits the vibe of the restaurant. I also love how they have free soft serve ice cream as well as customization of drinks. Service is always super friendly and efficient, food comes quickly. The food is always satisfying and leaves me full. The one critique I have is that I wish the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich was a bit more spicy. The prices are quite high but I do believe it is worth it especially considering how filling the food is.
My office gets our catered lunch here and I absolutely love the ribs and potato salad. The corn bread and bbq sauce options were also very delicious!!
We always love a stop at Pete's when we're back in the area. The pork and chicken are always delicious. Sides and sauces the same. And the corn bread... well, the corn bread is in a league of its own (especially when paired with the honey butter). The restaurant is also clean and always staffed with warm, engaging people. This really is a "must do" if you're in the Kent area (or at The Puyallup Fair - where we first found them).
Wow!!! What a GREAT barbecue place!!! We were just looking for a quick lunch while doing some projects for our Mom in SeaTac. Found this place on Yelp! And barbecue sounded good. OH MY GOODNESS! This was amazing. We each had #8 - "The Sandwich with No Name", we split an order of fries, and each had a fountain drink. The bill was over $50, and I dare say it was worth every penny!! The brisket on the sandwich was super tender, the bun was soft and toasted perfectly, and the amount of sauce was spot on. I hate when there is so much sauce it hides the flavor of the meat. The fries were chunky crispy deliciousness, especially dipped in the smoky fry sauce. Generous portion was enough to share. To top it all off, you get FREE soft serve ice cream ! Will definitely return!!
